Brandon Foster
Pastor
Pastor Brandon began serving Abounding Joy in September 2023! He came to us after serving congregations in Nebraska and North Dakota as a pastor and as a youth director. Pastor Brandon grew up in South Dakota, and attended North Dakota State where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences in 2008. He received his Master's of Divinity degree from Sioux Falls Seminary in 2016.
Pastor Brandon's greatest joys are helping young people come to know Jesus Christ and commit their lives to serving Him. Pastor Brandon also enjoys leading others to understand and serve their community, while always keeping a future vision of the Church.
Pastor Brandon is married to Monique, and they have three children, Natalie, Miles, and Elyse.

Tim Knorek
Youth & Family Ministries
Tim Knorek is honored to serve on staff at Abounding Joy as Director of Youth and Family Ministries. Growing up, Tim’s faith was deeply impacted by the youth group ministry at his home church in the Czech Republic. During summers 2011-2014, Tim came to Minnesota and served as a volunteer camp counselor at Mount Carmel Ministries. This experience influenced his decision to pursue youth ministry vocationally and Tim has served as a Youth Director in Alexandria and Plymouth before coming to Abounding Joy. It turns out that Bible camp is also a wonderful place to find a future spouse. Tim and Paige were married in July 2017. Currently, Tim is continuing his theological education at Institute of Lutheran Theology and serves part-time at Abounding Joy. In his free time, Tim enjoys jamming on his guitar, listening to podcasts, and he never turns down a friendly match of Table Tennis!
